We’ve had a very busy few weeks here in the current home studio of Jen Clark Design, not only keeping pace with a variety of new and existing projects spanning graphic design, identity design, print and web but also due to our hunt for a suitable new design studio. We have been looking for a slightly larger studio space in which to relocate.
Our prerequisites were pretty simple: the new design studio space, above all else, had to be inspiring and comfortable for not only us but for our clients. Other qualities including opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration with other creative businesses, good security and accessibility and of course last but by no means least ample access to the fuel that is the driving force behind any productive creative business – good coffee! – were also important.
I’m pleased to say that yesterday we secured a new design studio space that not only fulfils, but exceeds, all of the above criteria (and more!) and we’re very much looking forward to basing ourselves there as of next Monday, 1st October. We’ll be sharing the space with an Architect, a Photographer, 2 x Copywriters and a 3D Animator / Digital Designer. Photos below (click to view larger size) 🙂
Please make a note in your diary that as of Monday, 1st October, you can find us at our new address, just a hop, skip and jump across Merri Creek from CERES Environment Park for all you green guru’s out there. If you’re in the area or fancy popping in for a coffee to discuss your next project, you are of course always welcome!
POSTSCRIPT – We have now moved on but kept the post as it documents our travels!
